At Golden Star Office Cleaning, we build our service on the quality of our team. Professional, reliable office cleaners are the foundation of every program we run — and we are always looking for motivated people who take pride in their work and want consistent, professional employment across Melbourne’s CBD and suburbs.
We operate Monday through Friday, primarily in the after-hours window (6pm–10pm) with some early morning availability. Our clients include professional services offices, corporate facilities, medical practices, and technology companies across Melbourne.

Award Wages
We pay the Cleaning Services Award 2020 rates at minimum, with above-Award rates for experienced team members. All staff are correctly classified, receive payslips, and accrue entitlements as required by the Fair Work Act.
Consistent Hours
Our programs run on regular weekly schedules. You know your shifts in advance, which makes planning around other commitments straightforward. We do not use casual-on-demand models with unpredictable hours.
Melbourne Locations
We match team members to accounts in their preferred area of Melbourne — CBD, inner north, inner south, eastern suburbs, western suburbs, or northern suburbs. We work to minimise unnecessary travel between accounts.
Training and Support
All new team members receive a comprehensive induction covering cleaning techniques, product safety, scope delivery, and quality standards. Experienced team members have access to pathway opportunities into senior or supervisory roles.
Compliant Employment
Golden Star maintains full WorkCover insurance for all team members, correct superannuation payments, and compliant time and wage records. We are a registered Fair Work employer. All team members complete a National Police Check before commencing.
Supportive Team
Our management team is accessible and responsive. If you have an issue at a site, a scheduling concern, or need equipment or products, there is always a named person available to help. We do not leave team members to manage problems alone.

What We Look For
We are looking for team members who are reliable (attendance and punctuality matter to our clients more than any other single factor), take pride in the quality of their work, can work independently without direct supervision, communicate clearly with management when issues arise, and are honest, trustworthy, and capable of passing a National Police Check.
Formal cleaning experience is valued but not required — we provide comprehensive training. What we cannot train is reliability, attention to detail, and the personal standard of someone who wants to do a good job. Those qualities matter more than a cleaning certificate.
